Pine Bluff’s Fire Chief, Arson Fyre, has blamed the July 4th fireworks display for the serious fire and subsequent explosion at Garibaldi’s Bakery.

Chief Fyre stated that a stray rocket from the display landed on the roof of the bakery which then caught fire. The resulting blaze reached the bakery kitchen where the next days batch of bread was proving.

In the words of Chief Fyre “The large amount of heated dough then exploded, the majority of which landed on the Pine Bluffs Engine Number 1. It will take Stan Pipe the maintenance man all morning to clean the engine.”
